Did you win the lottery this week? Even if you only had a small win you might be feeling pretty lucky but not as lucky as the lucky Australian lottery player who has won the lottery twice in three days!
The unnamed Brisbane lottery player is from the Caboolture area and is a regular lottery player. On Monday she won a lower division lottery prize worth around AUS$15,000 and understandable was pretty thrilled! Most of us dream of winning even a small amount and the winner was feeling pretty lucky.
Then on the Wednesday of the same week, Lady Luck struck again but in even bigger form as the unnamed winner scooped the jackpot, this time scooping AUS$2,770,000, a considerable larger sum and quite the amount to celebrate.
The winner says her good luck started before this double win as she’s had a run of smaller wins. However, she thought her luck was running out as she’d already got lucky with lower amounts.
When asked what she was going to do with the winnings, the lucky Brisbane winner says she’d like to take it easy now. She says she’s worked hard her entire life and now she’s looking forward to playing golf a couple of times a week and kicking back and relaxing. Who can blame her?
The lucky player didn’t state whether she will continue to buy lottery tickets for the draw, but we think it’s a good bet that she might try her luck again in the future!
It just goes to show, even if you have a small win you haven’t necessarily used up all your luck!
