Whatever massive life changes that have come about after Adrian Bayford and his wife won £148,000,000 on the EuroMillions, his love for music hasn’t changed. The owner of a music shop has gone through a divorce and him and his now ex-wife haven’t been out of the news since the win. And now, Mr Bayford has hit the headlines again due to his love of music after announcing that he’s to host a music festival, in his back yard!
Bayford doesn’t own the music shop any more, and he now lives on a £6,000,000 estate, and it’s this estate that he’s offered to organisers of the Cambridge Rock Festival, showing that the winner may finally be living the dream after a tumultuous few years.
The arrangement came about after Bayford approached organiser Dave Roberts about the idea, inspired by Bayford’s love of music. It’s now announced that this year’s Cambridge Rock Festival will be held at the mansion in Horseheath from August 3rd to August 6th 2017.
The festival is expected to have around 3,000 visitors a day, and while the acts have not yet been announced, organisers say that popular band Eddie and the Hot Rods will return for another performance. Previously the festival has been held at a local polo club but after complaints from local residents a new location was needed.
After hitting the headlines many times with many negative stories it’s been clear that the Bayfords have struggled with this huge life-changing win, but it seems that now, finally Adrian Bayford is learning to use his good fortune to feed his own interests and live the dream.
